Our Story begins with our founder, Denise O’Neill. Denise is born and raised in Carnesville, Georgia where she ended up going to college to be a teacher. After some time she wanted to make a career change, that’s when she decided on being a sales representative for a tile business where she began to learn about the business and and how installations worked. She then ran into two brothers who ran a wallpaper business. They took her under their wing and she strived from there, after she got her foot in the door she branched out and founded “Covering Walls”. Now with almost 35 years of experience and business she is thriving! Our Business runs through Denise’s passion, work ethic, drive, and most importantly her hospitality. Every Installation isn’t just a business offering a service, it’s offering a family experience where you can bring your idea to life, and that’s all because of Denise.

Our story doesn’t end there, we now move on to Denise’s right hand woman! Piper Patterson. Piper is born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. She went to Eastside high school where they had a career center for juniors and seniors. She decided on construction and was surprised to be the only woman in the class. She always knew she wanted to do construction based projects so she went for it. She was able to gain so much experience from the course that she was offered to take the Michelin test, where she scored higher than anyone in her class and was offered her a chance to work as a machinist straight out of high school. Fast forward a little and she met Denise through a mutual friend and it blossomed from there. In no time Piper became a full time hanger and Denise talks about her all the time. Their bond is what makes this business a family experience, we will always strive to make sure every job isn’t just done with precision, but done with care and love.
